I love the challenge of hearing a client’s wishes and then designing a cabinet or display to meet their requirements. These have included rack card holders, a motivational plaque, cash donation box, retail P.O.P. (point of purchase) displays & more simple structures. I always provide the client with drawings showing a full perspective to help them envision the end results.
Ash Urn Ark
The Director of the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn in Candler, NC, wanted the ability to present an urn of ashes similar to a casket where pall bearers could carry it in. The large wood structure constructed of solid oak had handles on both sides for four people to easily lift the unit. If a tall ceramic urn is used instead of the small box shown, a brass tube enclosure was also provided to prevent it from tipping over.
